Welcome to www.JaysonSimba.com!

Hi ! Thank You for visiting my website.

Here is a little bit about me:

I attended Laguardia High School of Performing Arts with well known alumni Adrien Brody, Sarah Paulson & Adrian Grenier. Following graduation, I continued to study at New York CIty's The Neighborhood Playhouse and The Acting Studio NYC under the tutelage of renowned artistic director James Price, where I concentrated on the Meisner Technique of acting for three years. After appearing in showcases of All My Sons by Arthur Miller and A Loss of Roses by William Inge, I continued scene study with Oscar nominated director Susan Seidelman at NYU in New York City & Monologue study with founding artistic director of Yale's O'Neill Studio, Stephen Kennedy Murphy. I've also had the pleasure of studying under such talented mentors as Cathy Russel, Rob Sedgwick and Susan Seidelman

In 2009 I wrote, directed and starred in the dramatic feature film WHAT MATTERS MOST, where I played the role of Michael, a young writer in a deteriorating relationship. My most recent credits include Oscar, a young cowboy in a doomed relationship on the show Happily Never After; Gilberto, an abusive husband, in the recently released film Times Like These; and Holden in the unreleased pilot for the rock and roll themed show, Lower East Asides. In 2014, I had the fortunate opportunity to star in the film Soft In the Head by acclaimed director Nathan Silver, which was named as one of the TOP 20 FILMS of 2014.Other Credits include playing a fighter pilot called in to save New York City from a werewolf outbreak in the SyFy Channel Original film BATTLEDOGS. and the film DON'T SHOOT THE PHARMACIST, co-starring along with some of todays hottest comics including Ben Bailey, Artie Fuqua, Steve Byrne and Godfrey.

In 2016, I founded a non-profit organization and launched KEW GARDENS FESTIVAL OF CINEMA, Queens New York's only festival event of it's kind. It was incredibly well received, and saw 3000 guests over the course of 10 days.

Outside of acting I love to travel and have visited such places as Rio Di Janeiro during Carnival, backpacked across Europe visiting landmarks such as Stonehenge, The London Eye and Amsterdam's Red Light District. My most recent trips include trekking across Italy through Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice, as well as across China where I got to visit The Great Wall!
